Pay: $22.00 - $26.00

Hours: 8am – 5pm

Monday to Friday

 

General SummaryThe Human Resource Assistant will provide full administrative support to the Human Resources Team. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and must be able to excel in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and track the Human Resources central email box by acknowledging receipt of all inquiries in a timely manner forwarding correspondence to the appropriate HR staff member to address the inquires
  • Prepare all pre-employment offer documents, background checks, DMV checks, and insurance submittals
  • Assist HR Generalist in preparing for new hire orientations
  • Assist HR Generalist in keeping all reports and various tracking metrics up to date
  • Be the point of contact for all incoming HR phone calls, track requests, and ensure all employee inquiries are addressed in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for ensuring all personnel files are compliant and appropriately managed as per document retention requirements
  • Assist in the setup of employee training and events
  • Provide support for semi-monthly payroll processes as needed
  • Additional administrative support tasks/projects as needed

  • Ability to work with diverse and strong personalities to drive results in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive locally to and from various automotive dealerships, post office, fed ex, etc.

 

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration or relevant field (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of direct HR experience\
  • Strong computer skills including working with enterprise level software and MS products
  • (S)PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
