Description

We have a direct hire opening for a Counter Sales Rep in San Jose, CA at a metal supply store that sells a variety of metal products to customers! This is a day shift position!

Assist walk in customers at the store and answer their questions about the metal supply products.  

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills in selling metal supplies. Be on our client’s payroll on Day 1 with this DIRECT HIRE opportunity! 

Schedule and Pay Information:

• 1st Shift: 8 am-5 pm; Mon-Fri
• Pay: $23-$26/hour DOE

Job Duties of the Counter Sales Rep:

• Help customers in the store or over the phone with their metal supply needs
• Answer questions about the metal products, the styles and shapes they come in, and the shop services that customize the supplies.
• Count inventory and order new materials and supplies that are running low or out of stock
• Receive payment from customers to complete transactions
• Make the store presentable to walk in customers 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements of the Counter Sales Rep:

• At least 1 year of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Have good customer service skills
• Learn about the metal supply industry and the customers that use their products
• Use Microsoft Office software and other systems to help customers
