This is working for a medical manufacturing company located in the Southeast area of Jacksonville, that engineer and builds guides and implants for children with birth defects and patients recovering from car accidents for reconstructive purposes they focus on medical devices that are made specific to each and every patient!

 

Job Title: Contract Administrator

Pay: $22 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm  

 

Summary

This individual will assist with but not have sole responsibility for bid responses, contract preparation and delivery, contract performance requirements, reviewing and understanding business and financial terms. Activities will be performed through detailed analyses of historical sales and pricing trends; While learning about bid proposal review/preparations, contract negotiation summaries, contract administration support and customer contract activities. This individual will assist with contract specifications, sales admin reports, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, compiling and analyzing data, and maintaining historical bid response and contract award information.

Job Requirements

  • Support for the retrieval, interpretation and completion of assigned contract/solicitation documents.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Sales, Sales Management and internal personnel to effectively complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Participate as an integral member of the team while learning pricing strategies, specifically as it relates to contracting.
  • Helps facilitate the collection and/or assessment of competitive pricing information from the sales force and third party sources.
  • When necessary develops historic trend analysis/information looking at a variety of dimensions (customer type, product group, profitability, etc.).
  • Works closely with the field sales team and appropriate internal personnel assisting when asked to help create customer pricing, contracting terms and conditions, Purchase Agreement formulation and other support activities/analysis.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Minimum Requirement of an Associate degree (or working towards) with or an appropriate amount of related work experience
  • Medical device and/or healthcare industry contracting experience preferred.
