We are looking for a Senior Payroll Analyst in Cedar Park, TX, with knowledge of end to end payroll.
This position is not remote.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Pay: Depends on experience
Duties
Manages multi-state full cycle payroll, coordinates and process daily payroll operations, to ensure that daily, bi-weekly and monthly functions are accomplished by assigned deadlines
Process Third Party Vendor Payments (401K, HSA, Insurance..)
Process Weekly Prevailing Wages Payments 5% 4. Assist in communicating with internal and external customer regarding payroll related questions.
Monitors, reviews, and updates written procedures and controls within the payroll department to ensure to efficiency in job functions and internal control.
Maintain general ledger interface mapping of accounts and processes uploads from ADP to Syteline of general ledger transactions.
Assigns and sets up department, earnings, and deduction codes on ADP as well as set up new tax jurisdictions
Determine payroll accounting journal-entries and perform monthly general ledger reconciliation of all payroll liability accounts. Ensure proper controls and audit are in place to mitigate risks within the payroll department.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
5-7 years of experience managing the full cycle of payroll process.
Proficiency with ADP software.
Experience with Federal, State, and Local payroll taxes and 401K regulations.
Must be proficient in Excel and able to learn new systems quickly.
