Seeking Human Resources Administrator and Safety Specialist for Warehouse in Menifee, CA and Wildomar, CA

 

Summary Of Position:

The Human Resources Administrator will have responsibilities working with up to 100 employees across a three-shift fast paced manufacturing environment.  The Human Resources Administrator will provide guidance and services to internal customers in support of human resource policies and procedures to include; talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, training and development, records management, employee relations, benefits, compensation, safety and health, workers’ compensation, employment law, wage & hour, leaves of absences, FMLA/CFRA – ADA regulations and compliance.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

 

Duties will consist of the following:

  • Manage and support daily employee administrative Human Resources services, policies and procedures and effectively communicate as needed and required
  • Provide Human Resources advice and guidance to individual employees, supervision, and leadership staff to ensure policy and legal compliance at both the state and federal level
  • Aid in the assessment and evolving development of employee engagement initiatives to sustain positive employee morale
  • Manage the effective on boarding of new hires with temporary employee conversion to support manufacturing production
  • Manage temporary employee agency services to support manufacturing production
  • Administer benefit programs such as life, health, dental insurances, PTO, leaves of absence and employee assistance programs
  • Provide knowledge, assessment and guidance for workers’ compensation, health and safety programs to ensure federal and state employment law compliance
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Administer and conduct leadership and safety training, record keeping and filing procedures
  • Manage, track, and monitor time off and leaves of absences such as FMLA/CFRA, workers’ compensation, etc.,
  • Update and process employee records appropriately and Human Resources record filing

Job Requirements

Education, Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of recent HR experience with increased levels of responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business is a plus
  • Experienced and familiar with California and Federal employment laws
  • Sound, effective and tactful managerial and leadership skills
  • High level proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills in a team environment
  • 30-pound weightlifting limit
