Are you an experienced TIG Specialty Metals Welder?

If so, ResourceMFG wants to meet you!

World class leader of on-board reverse osmosis products used on the most advanced Naval Ships and premier motor yachts is seeking Specialty Metal Welders to start immediately!

Monday - Friday plus overtime

Pay rate: DOE 

$25.00/hr, higher rates may be considered based on experience.

Essential Functions:

• Specialty Metals welding; Stainless Steel, Titanium, Copper Nickel, Hastelloy. Ideal candidate does not need to have experience with all metals, but must be proficient with TIG Welding with one or more specialty metals.

• Cut, trim, fit and fabricate metal components to dimensions for building and assembling.

• Collaborate with lead welder to ensure that the proper weld procedure, type of material and rod size are accurately assessed for each welding project.

• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations where procedural information is unavailable.

• Make a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly.

• Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

• Welding assembly and fabrication on various small to large scale structures and assemblies.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience welding Specialty Metals such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Copper Nickel and Hastelloy.
• Highly proficient in tube cutting, grinding and fabrication
• Highly experience in Class A welds
• Knowledge in standard tools, materials, motions, and practices of the welding trade
• Use of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body
• Must perform a welding test and pass inspection
