Description

A packaging supplier for major food, beverage, and dietary supplement brand owners is seeking an accounting Manager.

• Salary 100K-120K
• Direct hire opportunity
• Irwindale CA 

The Accounting Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General accounting & general ledger completeness & accuracy.
• Produce periodic financial reports, ensuring the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards functions.
• Produce analytical reports to assist the company in improving financial performance.
• Forecasting & budgeting.
• Taxes
• Oversee accounts receivable & accounts payable areas.
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for areas of responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations & requirements.
• Coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
• Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
• Recruits and hires accounting and financial staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for current staff.

Job Requirements

• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in working in major ERP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Eight years or more of related experience in manufacturing or similar environment required.
  Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
