Job Information

Responsibilities

• Work safely in the laboratory and in assigned areas at all times

• Provide timely, efficient and proficient evaluations of carbon black

• Assures laboratory test equipment is properly maintained and within calibration

• Perform specified analytical and physical tests on finished product and in-process carbon black at the predetermined intervals

• Prepare samples of in-process material and shipment material for evaluation

• Acquire a knowledge of and properly utilize the retain system, as it applies to shipments or and finished product

• Acquire knowledge of sampling the various modes of product packaging and transport

• Acquire knowledge of and properly utilize Excel and Microsoft Dynamics AX applications

• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, and record all calibrations into the electronic record system at the predetermined intervals

• Demonstrated proficiency in Proficient knowledge of all test procedures

• Demonstrated proficiency in Proficient knowledge of ISO procedures and work instructions

• Helps to maintain a positive work environment through proper housekeeping

• Acquires knowledge of and adheres to all safety practices and principles

Benefits

• Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

Qualifications

• Must be able to work individually or and as a team member

• Must be able to handle perform multiple tasks

• Must be able to communicate effectively

• Must be open to working rotating shifts, weekends & holidays

• Must maintain good attendance record due to the 24/7 operation of the plant. (Where applicable.)

• High School Diploma are GED required

• Bring a workable knowledge of basic computer functions and applications
