ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER NEEDED IN GROVEPORT, OHIO!!!!!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DIRECT HIRE SALARY POSITION: 60K-75K DEPEDNING ON EXPERIENCE!!!!

Overview

We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated individual to join the team as an Electrical Controls Engineer. The ideal Controls Engineer should be a self-starter and has the ability to handle multi-tasks/situations.  Able to work independently and/or in a team environment.  Have the flexibility to work overtime when necessary, complete other assigned duties, and manage multiple tasks ranging from design, process planning, problem-solving as well as scheduling. An idea candidate should also have the follow:

  • Able to travel (10%)
  • Deadline driven
  • Project estimates- for parts and labor to complete control design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Customer-oriented/support
  • Ability to present, lead, and delegate
  • Have a least 2-3 years’ experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Job duties

Controls Design- Will be assigned to robot cell control design for body part welding process in automotive industries.

The design includes:

  • VFD and Servo Motor for Part loading / unloading equipment, Turn table, Trunnion table, Line conveyor system
  • Jig for part set / Jig for part weld / Robot hand to transfer part
  • Robot interface, Fixed gun station interface, Material handling equipment interface
  • Safety device control for robot cell
  • Overall robot cell integration

Controls Support

  • Able to correct/adjust wiring and programming errors during equipment start up
  • Trouble shoot robot faults
  • Support our customer for any control adjustment at a job site

 

Hardware Design- design and create electrical schematics, panel and field box layout, cable harness layout, and cable tray layout with AutoCAD LT or other software.

The design includes:

  • Power distribution AC to DC power
  • Safety Device, Safety Relay, Safety PLC
  • PLC arrangement including MITSUBHI / OMRON / YASKAWA
  • PLC network arrangement including DEVICE NET / CC-LINK / ETHERNET IP
  • Control Relay / Motor Starter / VFD / Servo Motor / AC motor
  • Photo Sensor / Light Curtain / Proximity Sensor / Touch Sensor / Reed Sensor / Limit Switch /
  • Pressure Switch / Flow Switch etc.
  • PLC Output device including Control Relay / Motor Starter / Solenoid Valve
  • Layout for control panel / field junction box / field start and stop device box / etc.
  • Cable harness layout to connect control panel to all robot cell area field boxes / field device / interface to other equipment

 

 Software Design with PLC (MITSUBISHI / OMRON / YASKAWA) interface to HMI

  • Create all necessary safety logic with Safety PLC program for overall robot cell control; control logic with PLC program for overall robot cell control; necessary program for interface to other equipment including robot / part load and unload equipment / control panel for other robot cell
