Now hiring Machinists for local Brake & Friction Manufacturer! 

Description: Produce quality components in accordance with hour by hour and standard work goals.  Set up, load, and unload machine.  Maintain tooling. Assemble components as applicable.

Shift: 

• 2nd: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• 3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Pay: Up to $21/hr based on experience & shift 

Duties: 

• Review blueprints and drawings to determine product/work piece specifications, operations sequence, and setup requirements.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate all machining factors.
• Observe machine operation to detect malfunctions/out of tolerance issue and adjust as required.
• Verify conformance of finished product to specifications.
• Maintain area 5-S standards.
• Related duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor or Plant Manager

Job Requirements

Requirements: 

• Blueprint reading experience a plus 
• Prior manufacturing - 6 to 12 months
• Able to operate/run all equipment, while ensuring quality, safety and production standards are accomplished
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Strong attention to detail
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or a team 
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours 
• Bend, stoop, twist 
• Lift up to 40 lbs
