Quality Technician

Monday-Thursday 5:00 am-3:30 pm

Pay: $18-22 an hour

ResourceMFG is hiring for a quality technician for a local electronics assembler.

  • Performs incoming inspection. Performs raw material inspections and sampling of materials to support production lines.
  • Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards.
  • May apply approval or rejection labels to product once inspections are completed.
  • Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.


  • Perform receiving inspections of raw materials.
  • Evaluate of production and test data against product requirements and operating protocols to determine acceptability of raw material product. 
  • Perform process verification/audits as assigned.
  • Support Quality System training initiatives.
  • Deploys the Quality Management System as it applies to scope of work.
  • Authority to implement protocols prescribed by procedure.
  • Authority to recommend improvements and act as appropriate.
  • Authority to stop any process that threatens the wellbeing of any employee.
  • Authority to initiate Corrective Action when a non-conformance is identified and stop the process when a non-conformance is found.
  • Other appropriate activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with flexibility to change in priority.
  • Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Familiarity with metrology equipment helpful.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001 (AS-9100 exposure helpful).
  • Desire experience/previous exposure to Design and Manufacturing Environment and implementation of protocol.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player with ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Computer proficient.
  • MUST be ITAR Certified
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required
  • Some college Preferred
