ResourceMFG is seeking an experienced Accountant for our NW Houston client (Hwy 290 & 610)

Temp to Hire       Pay will depend on experience and skills

Job Summary: Responsible for performing general cost accounting functions, producing financial reports, analyzing data, maintaining accounting records, and performing other related duties in daily administration of the accounting department. This position requires knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Prepare Daily Sales Report.
• Prepare Daily Work Order Closure.
• Prepare Daily Production Reports for Mills.
• Participate in month end closing procedures.
• Monthly expense analysis.
• Fixed Asset analysis.         
• Creates reports for and participates in Fiscal Year closure.
• Prepares 1099 forms.
• Prepares Monthly sales and use tax report.
• Prepares government surveys.

Interfaces with internal and external auditors.

Job Requirements

• Must have recent Accounting experience (full cycle)
• Thhis is a high level position, must have capablities to work with little supervision
• MFG accounting experience is required
