Description

We are currently looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join our growing team of machinist. This is a long term, stable commitment with benefits available after 30 days!! We offer competitive benefits along with an annual Holiday bonus! Please see details below:

Shift: 1st& 2nd Shift availability (TBD Depending on business needs)

• Toolmaker / Machine Builder must have a solid mechanical aptitude.
• Fabricate custom and prototype parts in a tool room and assemble machines from the ground up.
• Must have ability to work/hold tight tolerances.
• Must have the ability to work with conventional mills, lathes, grinders.
• Capable of working independently (minimal supervision).
• Maintain facility housekeeping / department organization within scope of responsibility.
• Must have own tools. *****
• Welding (MIG, TIG and STICK Welding) a plus.
• Responsible for tool / die repair, quality, output, and related efficiencies
• Facilitate internal and external Quality audits as required.

Job Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and computer drawings, perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, speeds, and feeds of machining, and use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals).
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) a plus
• High School degree or equivalent experience or five years related experience.
