Senior Project Manager Position available in York PA!
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Salary Range: 60,000 to 90,000
Senior Project Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage elaborate, technically challenging construction projects.
Efficiently execute projects assigned while maintaining successful relationships with project owner(s), architect(s), engineer(s), subcontractors, suppliers and the Keystruct field team and cultivating relationships for future projects.
Schedule a turn-over meeting with Estimator, Superintendent, and Vice President to review estimate, drawings, scope of work, owner contract information, subcontractor scopes and buyout.
Develop and execute all subcontracts and purchase orders.
Provide Superintendent with drawings, scope of work, critical contract information, cost control information, job contact list and subcontract/purchase order agreements.
Schedule pre-job conference with subcontractors/suppliers to review scope of work
Communicate with the Superintendent daily advising them of any changes or clarifications in the work.
Work with project team to create and update the project schedule weekly. Review schedule with critical subcontractors/suppliers to ensure they are on schedule and material will arrive on time.
Expedite and control RFI & Submittal process to keep contract schedule on track.
Visit each job weekly and more frequently if needed to observe job progress.
Assist with monitoring jobsite safety.
Review job costs and labor hours with the Superintendent weekly.
Document all schedule delays to the owner no matter how minor and update your project schedule to project the delay.
Document and communicate all change orders to the owner immediately.
Keep change requests up to date in company’s appropriate software for both owner and subcontractor/supplier requests.
Hold weekly jobsite meetings with the owner, subcontractors and suppliers; keep them abreast of deadlines that are coming up that need to be met. Document these discussions in your meeting minutes.
Submit monthly progress billings to accounting prior to the billing deadline outlined in the owner’s contract. Compare job costs to progress billings for positive cash flow.
Submit timely and accurate cost in completion reports at the end of each month.
Provide owner with O & M manual, which includes “As-Built” drawings and warranty letter of project completion.
Schedule job close out meeting and prepare close-out report to review at meeting.
Assist with coaching project managers and project engineers to expand knowledge and promote professional growth.
Job Requirements
Senior Project Manager Job Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Construction Management or a related degree and five (5) years’ experience or ten plus (10+) years of related construction experience.
Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; and strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
