The Manufacturing Technician is a technically-oriented problem solver who uses their knowledge and experience to drive the production. The successful candidate is a Lean Manufacturing leader who can read, analyze and perform well under pressure. The Manufacturing Technician will gather technical/customer requirements, assist Manufacturing Engineering with creating and maintaining technical release data and assist in the production process as a technical guide for new document and product releases. Manufacturing Technician will also assist in maintaining and routing data in the ERP system, create/manage project timelines, and oversee NPI (New Product Introductions).
Required Education and Experience:
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field. manufacturing related discipline preferred and 1+ years of related manufacturing experience.
A general understanding of other skilled trades such as metal forming and welding.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Fluency in MS Office Tools ((Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a focus on documentation.
Experience in problem-solving skills and good oral and written communication skills as well as good organization skills.
Experience using and creating Control Plans, PFMEAs and detailed work instructions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.
