• 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
• 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am
• Pay: 17.00 per hour
• Temp to hire opportunity

Responsibilities of Grinders in factory:

• Grinder removes excess metal and surface defects from parts by performing the following duties.
• Selects abrasive belt or wheel according to grain size, type of finish specified, product being polished, or amount of metal to be removed.
• Attaches wheel or belt to drive mechanism.
• Starts polisher and manipulates work piece against abrasive wheel or portable wheel against work piece to remove metal and surface defects.
• Examines part for acceptability of finish by fit to overlay or caliper check.
• Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area.
• Basic knowledge of running a CNC Mill machine preferred.
• Additional duties as requested by management.

Job Requirements

• Previous manufacturing grinding experience
• Knowledge of blueprint reading
