As a Production Supervisor you would be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of production associates to achieve required production and quality standards in a safe, efficient, and effective manner and for promoting and maintaining positive working relationships within the production department.

Job Requirements

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Directing production departments and regulates and coordinates functions of office and shop.
• Introducing efficient production line methods and initiates and directs procedures to increase company output.
• Supervising and training production employees for growth and development.
• Working with Engineering to analyze operations and setup for new jobs.
• Prioritizing work schedules.
• Scheduling service orders, analyzing service parts.
• Distributing work orders for machinery and manning requirements.
• Directing department to be compliant with all customer delivery and quality requirements.
• Directing production operations to be compliant with all FMS and division quality operating system requirements.
• Communicating goals for productivity, and scrap, rework and accident reduction.
• Ordering small, perishable tools.
• Actively supporting our Health, Safety and Environmental Policies, immediately reporting all dangerous situations and correcting them when able to do so safely, participating in all required Safety Training, meetings, inspections and using all required PPE.
