ResourceMFG Now Hiring Maintenance Personnel

Location: Greenwood, IN

Schedule: Monday - Friday 1pm-9:30pm

Job summary: This position is responsible for assisting with proper maintenance of equipment throughout the facility. Troubleshooting equipment and facility issues that arise. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance. Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Handling basic repairs and maintenance. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

Job Responsabilies:

  • Complete and update preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricate new equipment, as necessary.
  • Repair broken equipment promptly to ensure a smooth-running facility.
  • Maintain boiler feed water chemical balance and boiler blowdowns.
  • Oversee contractors on site when professional repairs are needed.
  • Maintain, service, clean and safely store equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs as requested.
  • Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems.
  • Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress.

Job Requirements

  • Must understand basic electricity.
  • Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, fabricating, welding, and trouble shooting of equipment breakdowns.
  • Must have prior experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Must have prior experience using hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to identify and troubleshoot any equipment mechanical failure.
  • Must have the ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Trained in GMP’s applicable Food Safety programs & procedures.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical, welding, plumbing and trouble shooting.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Proper lock out systems for electrical.
