Production Technician Responsibilities:

• Work safely, following safety work instructions
• Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.
• Perform die change and set-up duties.
• Load/unload parts in/out of welders, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures.
• Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts.
• Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.
• Other job duties, as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Ability to read and demonstrate understanding of documents such as safety rules, work instructions, etc.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and sound judgement to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
• Ability to apply basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers, factions and decimals.
• Must have basic problem solving abilities and be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to use hands to grip, twist and handle parts
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
• Ability to lift, reach, push, pull, carry, bend, twist and stoop with parts, boxes, or other objects weighing no more than 35 lbs.
• Ability to work in a loud environment with hearing protection
• Steel toe shoes required
• Must have HS Diploma or GED
