Seeking a strategic minded Human Resources Generalist to support the payroll p0rocessing and reporting, recruiting and on-boarding, employee relations, training and development, as well as events for the organization. The HR Generalist will contribute to cultivating a culture of talented people, who share common goals and direction while consistently and proactively looking for ways to add value to the organization and improve our way of working.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirement and government reporting regulations affecting payroll, hitman resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Manages the bi-weekly payroll processing and all the related reporting as well as manual checks and ad-hoc reporting
Lands the annual worker's compensation audit
Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
Updates job descriptions to ensure all hons have updates description in a standard format
Plans and conducts new employee on-boarding to a foster positive attitude toward company goals as well a knowledge of all compliance areas.
Leads the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues.
Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Prepares and updates HR debarment metrics
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or two to four years related experience and /or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or Certified Professional (CPP)) preferred
3 years in payroll processing and reporting experience
3-5 hears HR Generalist experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment or related industries, preferred, and work experience in a a fast paced, multi-cultural environment.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
