Sheet Metal Welder
1st shift 6am-2:30pm $19hr.
•Experience with sheet metal fabrication processes, •Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints and perform set-ups.
•knowledge of MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.;
•Select and use a variety of metal finishing tools (grinders, abrasives, etc.) •Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
•Install metal sheets with supportive frameworks •Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites •Maneuver large sheet metal parts to be installed, and anchor the parts
•Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering
•Perform a series of progressive welding operations to drawing tolerances and specifications; •Read and understand detailed drawings for weldments, including solid comprehension and interpretation of weld symbols and complete work to customer requirements and specifications.
