We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our operations team for our Oklahoma City manufacturing facility. The position will be responsible for welding and fabrication of components and will assist in the facility’s safety programs and culture. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Prepare new or used parts for welding
Fabricate simple components using saw, drill, torch, plasma, grinder.
Read blueprints, layout and fit components to print
Join parts together per print using MIG welder
Finish welding of parts using MIG welder according to blueprint
Preparation of welds for paint or powder coat
May be required to work in other areas to provide support during absences or shortage of staff.
· Produce customer ready product with goal of zero defects/returns.
· Must wear proper safety equipment
3-5 years of relative welding experience
Ability to pass a welding certification test
Desire to work in a production environment
Perform basic job-related computer functions
Ability to read a tape measure
Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, history of monitoring own work to ensure quality.
Possesses ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
