Temecula Manufacturing Center Seeking Mixer

A Temecula facility is urgently seeking a Mixer to join their team!

 

Pay Rate:

$20

 

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm 

 

 

Mixer Duties will consist of the following:

  • “Staging” ingredients
  • Read batch, formulation, and compounding sheets
  • Find names of raw materials, know how much product is needed and assist in the weighing process
  • Cleaning equipment, buckets, totes, machinery
  • Weigh products and adds to sifting tank
  • Monitors to ensure product does not overfill totes/hoppers
  • Check product quality consistently
  • Ability to multitask, work with little direction, and follow up on all requests

· A person in this position usually has several years of experience

· Ability to become forklift certified and maintain certification

 

Physical/Environmental Demands:

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs sacks

· Must be able to push/pull up to 300lbs with or without assistance

· Twisting / Bending / Stooping

· Climbing up and down stairs to sifting room

· Moving back and forth between machinery and warehouse

· Operates in extremes of heat/cold in an enclosed warehouse with various forms precipitation

· Sitting 5-7 hours or more per day while pressing clutch, brake and gas pedals and ability to control equipment with mechanical hand levers.

· PPE: hair/beard nets, safety glasses, face masks/shields

· Occasionally throughout shift, subject to loud pounding noises with mallet against plastic totes

· Subject to raw product powder that is airborne

· Noise level: is at or below 85 decibels averaged over 8 working hours, or an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA); occasional vibration as a result of the machinery

· Ear protection is supplied, and employees are encouraged to wear but it is not required

 

Other Requirements:

· Adherence to dress code and grooming standards

· Adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) rules and regulations

· Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance'
