Job Description

Looking for a great Sales Supervisor to lead, manage and be a part of the sales teams. To meet and exceed performance targets, develop, and maintain a solid inside sales/lead generation team. Proactively engage with retail stores to promote products, provide product education and collateral, and deliver superior customer service.

 

Specific Duties

 Managerial: 

  • Responsible for the direct management of the sales team for the Professional and Consumer Direct Divisions. 
  • Handle general management duties including, but not limited to scheduling, attendance management, performance evaluation, coaching, goal setting and goal achievement. 
  • Responsible for recruiting new members to the team. 
  • Monitor employee productivity and motivate team to reach daily dial goals and conversion metrics.
  • Routinely evaluate performance of each representative and be prepared to recommend changes in team members to Management to ensure sales goals are met for each month. 
  • Responsible for keeping the sales level steady during any team member absence.
  • Manage sales processes from new accounts, customer service inquiry, orders, and requests, through timely shipping of products.
  • Coordinate department activities and projects to meet campaign timelines.
  • Report to senior and executive management on sales metrics, identifying opportunities and making recommendations as needed.

 Business Development: 

  • Evaluate existing processes and sales performance.
  • Planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • The Sales Manager will utilize the various tools and methods available to devise a series of 3-month plans to improve sales and meet the goals set by Management. 
  • Monthly sales goals will include input from the Sales Manager. 
  • Be integral in working with Marketing to develop sales strategies, campaigns, etc.

Sales: 

  • Will manage a group of customers to test ideas, maintain competency, and cover sales order entry when needed.
  • These sales will be noncommissioned sales and can be added to or redistributed at Sales Manager discretion. 
  • Will be expected to demonstrate through example the best practice sales methods and adjust messaging as needed.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Proactive and dedication to providing great customer service.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
