Description

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, etc.

Assists with moving product from bakery to refrigerator when needed

Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls

Support special projects to improve new and existing products

Prepares frozen pastries per production list

Wears slip-resistant shoes, uses proper lifting techniques

Keeps work area clean, organized, and safe

Self-motivated with the ability to see what is needed to be done with little direction

Able to prioritize tasks with a teamwork focus

Job Requirements

• Standing for entire shift (8+ hours)

• Some heavy lifting may be required (up to 25 lbs)

• Can be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions

• Noisy environment

• Fast-paced environment

• Working within a team

• Must be able to attend 4 hours paid orientation prior to starting

• The orientation will consist of videos and testing

• You will take a tour of the job site so please be on dress code day of orientation

• No gum is permitted on-premises

• Must have a positive attitude

• No pets allowed on-premises

• Repetitive motion with hands and fingers

• Be ready to stat same day if needed

• Keep open communication with your SPM about issues, concerns, or any feedback
