Make sure there is sufficient mixed product to complete the work that is scheduled for the day for the powder, and encapsulating lines.
Prepare product for the next day’s work to maintain production schedules and meet deadlines.
Help establish weighing/blending standards on new products by being efficient and productive while maintaining quality standards.
Report all significant weighing/blending errors/mistakes to management.
Understand and become skilled on the mechanics of the equipment you are running. Be able to troubleshoot and fix problems that arise on that equipment.
Fill out BPR paperwork for weighing/blending properly. Log all blending events in the blending log book. It is your responsibility to ensure the paperwork and log books are appropriate for what has been weighed/blended.
Provide test samples and taste samples of each batch manufactured to QA/QC. QA/QC must approve each batch before that batch is released to the next department.
Take a proactive role in eliminating down time for your equipment.
Make sure the weighing and blending areas are clean and orderly.
Take a leadership role when not busy to look at what else needs to be done on the production floor and help out where you can.
At the end of your shift provide the Production Manager with the number of batches you completed that day.
Must be able to stand for duration of shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to follow directions/recipes
Ability to work with little supervision
