Shift: 7am to 3:30pm/4:30pm M-F and 8am to 12pm on some Saturdays
Location: Dextor, MI
Responsible for the operation of the pre-treatment, processing and post treatment of anodizing processes, which include hardcoat, chromate conversion coating, PTFE, color dyes, and sealing of the parts.
Verification of the readiness of the process line and the operation of the machinery on the line.
The safety of the process line.
Collect the necessary information before beginning processing such as determining the program to be followed.
High attention to detail, concentration, and ability to multi-task is required.
Basic blueprint reading a plus.
Able to verify proper racking of the parts for their conductivity.
Report any discrepancies to Alpha Metal Finishing management team.
Able to operate a hoist safely and effectively.
Maintains filters and pumps as needed.
Submit requests to maintenance’ attention for equipment issues.
Knowledge of waste treatment process a plus; follow EPA and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain Amp/Volts as indicated for the process.
Complete required safety training and retraining as required.
Make adjustments in sequence, time, temperature, conductivity and pH as indicated.
Reports to line leader and /or Alpha management personnel with any issues that may need to be addressed.

High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associates or Bachelor's degree a plus.
Ability to verify counts, part numbers, able to operate timers, clocks, rectifiers and able to read and complete paperwork required.
Management Team will determine if the education and training will be adequate for the job duties listed above.
One year minimum operating an anodizing line or similar position in surface finishing industry preferred.
