Basic Functions: Provide Quality Control services to assure that incoming and outgoing products meet the established standards.
Work to troubleshoot and resolve QC issues.
Perform sample inspection of all production in accordance with established standards.
Perform dimensional checks of start-up or suspect products.
Conduct physical testing such as required.
Communicate verbally, written, or electronically as needed.
Perform data entry and maintenance of Quality Control databases and spreadsheets.
Perform statistical analysis and capability studies, providing recommendations as required.
Maintain knowledge and use of statistical process controls (SPC) for application in the plant.
Select and/or inspect all customer sample orders.
Conduct sample inspection and release of all incoming component parts.
Inspect product at job sites to substantiate customer's claim of product defects.
Assist with internal audits.
Identify potential QC issues and troubleshoot to resolve with management.
May be involved in the development of testing methods.
Perform and report gram weights to others on a daily basis.
Review and report on customer complaints.
May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.
Perform other functions or duties as assigned.
Education: High School graduate. Associate’s Degree, Technical training, and/or Quality Technician certification (CQT) preferred. Experience: 1 - 3 years quality control/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.Apply Now
