Description

What we are looking for:

  • Assist as Lead with coordination of the activities of warehouse staff following the direction of Warehouse Supervisors and Management.
  • Assist Supervisors with team meetings to relay information as dictated by Warehouse Management, or to address specific topics, such as Company News, safety, workload. Ensure meeting content and recap is shared with and aligns with Management direction.
  • Review and inspect current work activity through to completion to ensure that all procedures have been performed properly.
  • Field and report to Warehouse Management feedback from staff to gain insight to procedures and processes as they affect relevant warehouse activity.
  • Communicate with Supervisors and Warehouse Management in the discussion of recommendations for efficiencies, procedures, scheduling, personnel, measurable assessment of staff and departmental capacities.
  • Model and encourage safety regulations and a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inspect materials, workstations, equipment, devices, and inventory for reported issues, bringing findings to Warehouse Management.
  • See reported issues through to resolution.
  • Perform the same work duties as those one is asked to lead, including manual work as needed, and administrative tasks as directed by Warehouse Management to assist department performance.
  • Additional duties/tasks assigned by Warehouse Management Competencies: Organizational skills Verbal and written communication Leadership
