2nd Shift Team Lead position available in High Point location!

Pay is based on experience starting at $16.00. 

As a key member of this department, the lead person will be responsible for the following:


  • Oversee training of new employees to assure proper and consistent transfer of skills and knowledge needed including safety procedures.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to team on best practices.


  • Works with the team to resolve quality issues
  • Completes quality corrective actions (audits) and help ensure team is achieving productivity and quality standards
  • Promotes and encourages continuous improvement
  • Consistently provides work instruction, review of processes and product inspection

 Daily Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and speaking English and interpreting of work orders.
  • Understanding of build sheets, PDD’s, PO’s, Pick ticket, DOPR tickets, etc.
  • Ensure orders/barcodes/etc. are printed as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain in a working lead position.  Also, be always visible to your employees and easy to approach.
  • Assist in distributing work fairly among team members and ensure quality products are produced.  Take ownership of your department and team.
  • Ensure production team members meet established standards, specifications, efficiency, and quality requirements to affect favorable production results.
  • Stays informed of active orders – any delays/issues should be addressed in a timely manner with direct supervisor/manager.
  • Works with supervisors daily to ensure SLA dates are met including any bottlenecks within your area.
  • Completes pre-determined cycle counts for your department to ensure all materials/supplies are available as needed.
  • Works with other leads to balance customer demand -vs- team demand.
  • Constantly seek and implement ways to improve safety, productivity, yield, waste reduction, cleanliness, and quality through teamwork.
  • Promotes safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management.
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • In supervisors’ absence, ensure that all emails are checked frequently and radio traffic answered as required.
  • In supervisor’s absence, adjust daily work schedule for direct department based on current workload.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift items that weight up to 20 lbs. and are 60' in height on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in an environment with a high level of noise.
  • Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly process.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours depending on business demands including overtime.
