The Production supports daily production by working with the team to create and package high quality baked goods. This includes scaling, mixing and processing ingredients through commercial baking equipment and machinery, rack and or deck oven baking, packaging, & palletizing products. The shift times for this position include early morning, afternoon and evening hours. The position will require a high level of accountability, teamwork, and ability to learn and operate machinery efficiently and according to all safety, food safety practices and regulations. This is a full-time position. DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS Follow all Safety, GMP and Food Safety practices according to company policy and FDA regulations. Fulfillment of daily orders along with proper FIFO and lot coding of ingredients and products. Mix, shape and proof and bake dough according to quality standards. Slicing, packaging and palletizing according to operational procedures. Before, during, and after shift, thoroughly cleans production area including surfaces, utensils, equipment, floors, and racks. Fills out daily tracking and production paperwork as needed. Working shifts according to specific production timelines to produce daily product volume. Working each shift as a team to successfully maintain Avalon’s values and Mission. Attend and participate in all paid mandatory team and company meetings. Other job duties as required.
