We are now hiring for a Brake Press operator (similar experience) for a manufacturing company in Duluth GA.  This a temp to perm position and you will be evaluated for the first 90 days.  Please review the details below.  Qualified Candidates will apply at www.resourcemfg.com

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Duluth GA

Hourly Rate: $15 - $17, depend on experience

Shift:  Night Shift

Core Job Duties:

• Set up, adjust and operate machines and equipment.
• Read, interpret and understand work orders.
• Read, interpret and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Quality check the product during the production process.
• Quality inspect the finished product.
• Use precision measuring tools, when need.
• Identify and report any equipment, operational or safety problems or material deficiencies.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Move and handle materials as necessary by using a sit-down forklift.
• Train New Employees on the fabrication process.
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
• Monitor team performance.
• Discover training needs and provide coaching, when needed.
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts, if possible.

Requirements:

• Prior Experience running machines that bend, cut, press or form sheet metal.
• Technical knowledge of sheet metal machines.
• Prior experience troubleshooting machines.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience with using precision measuring tools.
• Must wear required PPE’s (steel toes, safety glasses, face mask and ear plugs).
