Remedy seeking a Production Manager for manufacturing company here in South Jacksonville!

Pay: $24 to $28 per hour (Depending on experience)

Shift: 7:30am - 3:30pm (later if needed)

Main Priorities

Review Job folders
Ensure BOM and parts are available for jobs prior to start
Work with Plant Manager on scheduling of jobs and available manpower
Verify parts are complete and accurate according to the production drawings and (BOM) bill of materials
Oversee and manage all production – CNC, Fabrication, Wiring
Work with Quality Control to ensure production builds are meeting or exceeding
Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and translate as needed for Production workers
Everyday update of production schedule – parts, hours, and status
Inspect quality of workmanship on every JOB
Ensure shop cleanliness

Additional job requirement

Organize shop floor, work benches, tools, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a smooth flow in production
Communicate with Shipping and Receiving as needed on parts and deliveries to ensure jobs meet delivery dates
Complete weekly/monthly reports comparing – actual hours VS quoted hours
Complete Job Performance Evaluations for each production employee every 6 months
Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition
Create maintenance & repair log for all equipment and tools, accountability of all tools and their condition - Order parts for equipment and consumable parts for production – including replacement tools
Maintain accurate inventory of all ECS shop tools
Schedule regular training for employees
Keep current with UL Standards
Interact with UL inspector as needed
Create and implement an effective and efficient Production Flow process
