ResourceMFG is hiring for a production supervisor for a leading provider of high efficiency solar cells, solar panels, and composite structural products for satellite and aerospace applications.

Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday

Hours: 6 am-6:30 pm

Pay: $40,000-69,000 DOE


  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.  Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
  • Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies.  Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives.  This position supervises and coordinates activities of productions workers.
  • Job Complexity:  Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.  Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
  • Discretion:  Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.
  • Interaction:  Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups.  Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
  • Supervision:  Provides direct supervision to nonexempt support employees.  Acts as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.


  • Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
  • Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
  • Establishes or adjusts workflow to meet production schedules.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Performs activities of workers supervised.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Safety training requirement in hazardous materials, hazardous operations and emergency safety.
  • Deploys the Quality Management system as it applies to the scope of work

Job Requirements


  • Semi-Conductor experience required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.


  • Cleanroom protocol is required.
