Job Information


  • 2nd and 3rd shift available
  • $13-$14 hour
  • Adjust Machines continuously to ensure quality of product and to minimize wear and tear on machines.
  • Complete machine changeovers both similar die lines and non-similar die lines unassisted.
  • Use the Machine Changeover Checklist for each changeover to ensure correct settings are used to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Take a random sample off of each machine every 15 minutes, following the Sample Procedure SOP, to ensure quality of product
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Change a zipper or roll of film when operator is unable to do so.
  • Maintain stock of film behind machines using the Converting Schedule as a guide when the lead operator is unable to do so.
  • Listen and address operators quality concerns
  • Perform routine maintenance as instructed by the maintenance manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines using Cleaning Schedule as a guide.

Job Requirements:

  • Have knowledge of all operations and procedures for running machines.
  • Follow all quality checks and procedures.
  • Follow all department and machine safety rules and procedures.
  • Know and adhere to all quality specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all instructions given by the Shift Lead and/or Supervisor.
  • Record all production tags.
  • Turn in all recorded paperwork at the end of shift.
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions, ability to understand and fill out job related paperwork.
  • Must be able to stand for entire shift.
  • Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
  • Steel toes
