PRODUCTION OPERATORS NEEDED!!

WEST KNOXVILLE

$19.16/Hour

Position Purpose

Performs calibration functions on processing equipment, measures pipe and verifies that dimensional tolerances are within limits, prepares product for shipping, preforms within team environment, and strictly adheres to safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in daily safety routines (both as an individual and team member)
• Performs calibration functions on processing equipment
• Uses basic hand and power tools
• Measures pipe and verifies that dimensional tolerances are within acceptable criteria
• Assists team mates as required

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Detail-orientated
• Ability to work safely in a team environment
  
• Basic computer and math skills
• Proficient in communicating in English (verbal and written)
• Able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
• Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring
• Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts (including weekends and holidays)

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment - plastics extrusion process experience
