ResourceMFG has immediate openings for General Helpers 1st Shift - Irving; $16.00/hr.

Looking for Machine Operator - General Helpers

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
1st shift hours: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm (M-F); OT as required Duration: Temp to Perm

The primary function of the General Helper with a construction background is to move pipe, bundle pipe, and clean up. Assist Machine Operators/Welders.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Efficiency reading a tape measure, working with air tools, painting outlets 
• Performing QC on welds and processing and bundling fabricated pipe per job paperwork in a very safe, and fast paced environment 
• Safely moving pipe down the production table 
• Using the die grinder and needle scaler to clean the outlets
• Blow out debris with an air cannon
• Handle movement of pipe along the length of table and off load to a cart or crate for staging in loading area. 
• Operate threader to apply thread to desired pipe 
• Push pipe carts of pipe to load area for loading purposes
• Operates pneumatic bander to ready pipe bundles for shipment when required 
• Handle additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by any lead/management 

Job Requirements

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum of a GED or HS Diploma 
• Minimum of 2 years production in the construction field or work in a fabrication environment.
• Stand 8-10 hrs. in steel toed shoes.
• Read a tape measure
• Experience with power tools
