Pinellas Park company now seeking  a Supply Chain Analyst

 

Shift : 1st

 

Pay: DOE

 

Job Specifications:

  • Plans delivery of orders; and makes special arrangements for delivery; communicates to manufacturing the expected delivery date.
  • Schedules orders utilizing Deltek Costpoint ERP system
  • Use scheduling waterfall of planning of materials and deliveries
  • Works Expedite, Critical, and Excess from MRP exceptions report
  • Works directly with the Manufacturing Manager, Engineer’s and production personnel to resolve, document and communicate vendor quality problems back to vendors.
  • Dispositions all non-conforming material back to vendors.
  • Review and communication of tracking info as it relates to material delivery and schedule
  • Responsible for data entry maintenance on sales orders by customer/sales request (change shipping address, ship method, etc.)
  • Will be required to understand and develop the MRP production process as well as work with and implement various advancements in Shop Floor Control, Product Data Management, Forecasting, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management.
  • Identify trends and make adjustments, coordinating demand forecasting within the supply chain, coordinating promotional forecasting.
  • Identify more effective as well as alternative solutions to manage (open/close) work orders and minimize and manage backorders.
  • Maintain inventory levels to maximize inventory turns.
  • Act as a liaison between the Manufacturing/Operations and the Finance and Sales/Customer Service functions.
  • Plan, establish and maintain all inventory levels throughout the Supply Chain ensuring on time part availability.
  • Develop schedules to establish sequence and lead-time of each operation and department to meet customers' shipping dates
  • Expedite processing of materials by releasing and processing customer orders
  • Confer with related departments on the various phases of production and/or distribution center and assist with schedule modifications to ensure commitments
  •       Maintain records and related documents on processing and production and/or distribution   center in support of division goals and programs
  • Ability to coordinate daily requirements for shipping department based on customer due dates
  • Tracks  and reports on component pricing and purchase part variance

Job Requirements

Preferred Skills

 

  • Expanded knowledge  or prior use of manufacturing procedures (MRP, Deltek, Master Scheduling, Bills of Material)
  • Knowledge of  material identities, part relationships, production systems and related computer software
  • May be required to have knowledge of distribution procedures and processes
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management programs and systems
  • Solid knowledge of company products and process systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for interface with diverse groups
  • Other Office/Admin duties as projects require
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Web Applications, Email, etc)
  • Good phone and customer service skills
  • Able to perform repetitive data entry with dynamic responsibilities based on customer/sales demand Able to speak, understand, and read English.
