• Temp to Hire, hired with company just after 90 days
• Sunday-Thursday
• $16.00/hr.
• 10:00pm-6:30am

The Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment (including the Order Picker, Reach Truck and Turret) for product receipt, storage and order fulfillment. This position is responsible for product safety, quality and legality.

Forklift Operator Job Duties:

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components. 
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system. 
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment. 
• Sorting and build product to pallets to ensure compliance to customer expectation. 
• Use of machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets. 

Job Requirements

• Must have 3 years minimum experience operating Cherry Picker and Reach Lift.
• Ability to work on equipment at extended heights. 
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written and verbal instruction. Ability to present information and respond to questions from management. 
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all necessary units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines. 
• Ability to use computer applications and spreadsheets to maintain inventory and material information. 
• SAP experience preferred
