Mold Technician – Plastic Injection Molding

Location: Colfax, NC

Wage: $20-24 depending on experience

Core Responsibilities:

• Plastic Injection Mold Set-ups and start-ups
• Process monitoring and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Material Handling, monitoring of auxiliary equipment and minor maintenance required
• Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency
• Effective communication with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations
• Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure part quality/performance
• Participate and lead training initiatives to improve personal and co-worker skill sets
• Promote all safety processes and procedures and OSHA regulations

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years RECENT experience in Plastic Injection Molding
• Knowledge of robotics machinery (Wittman preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good visual skills for assessing part quality
• Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
• Must be able to stand/walk for full manufacturing shift
• Moderate computer skills Able to lift up to 55 lbs
