  • The Forklift Sit down Operator is responsible for:
    • Operating a forklift and/or other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
    • Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle 
    • Performing Order Filler and Checker duties.
    • Receiving/Put-Away: Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
    • Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
    • Quality: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
    • Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
    • Loading: Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
    • Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
    • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
    • Inventory: Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. 
    • Maintenance: Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.
    • Reworking materials that are non conforming.

1st 2:30pm-1:00am  $19.75

This is a Temp to Hire Position:

Job Requirements

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one plus years of production plant experience is preferred.
  • Able to identify all materials used, detail-oriented, follow safe practices and procedures, ability to read English, and or follow directions.
  • Able to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/ rainy weather, lift 50 pounds, and be able to climb ladders and work on their feet for the entire day.
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
