Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with the desire and ability to study and learn.
• Stamina and dexterity required to carefully handle machined metal parts and to maintain focused attention-to-detail for shift work in busy shop.
• Operates test equipment such as magnetic particle and penetrant machines to standard settings, following manual instructions
• Set up equipment to perform tests, and conducts tests on parts, following procedures established for specified tests performed.
• Requires being on one's feet much of the day.
• Basic math skills, good English verbal and written skills per FAA requirement.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 with full color perception.
• Drug testing required.
• Full Time Day Shift. 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri Availability for overtime required.
• U.S. citizen or meets requirements of: U.S. Person

Compensation:

• Starting up to $16.00/hr – experienced based

Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;  to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram form instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.  The ability to perform a repetitive job assignment for a shift duration is a necessity.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include correctable to 20/20 close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must successfully complete a vision exam.
