ResourceMFG is seeking experienced Process Technicians for a manufacturing factory in Plymouth, MI. Process Technicians are responsible for ensuring the presses run smoothly and minimizing down time for process related issues.

• Pay: $21 - $26 per hour (based on experience)
• 2nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:45pm
• Contract-to-hire

Essential Functions of Process Technician:

• Meets and Monitors daily schedules. Provides root cause analysis and corrective actions for any unscheduled downtime, missed production opportunities and/or defect production.
• Monitors all scrap produced that affect efficiencies, daily outputs, and validates with Line Supervisors prior to daily reporting.
• Maintain process standards, perform daily verifications to include performing 1^st piece verification.
• Maintains 5S standards in the factory
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards & procedures and compliance with legal codes and regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities i.e. technical publications.
• Conducts training for new hires to help guide them to the next level.
• Assists Line Supervisor(s) in providing breaks and filling in for absences on the line.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as injection mold process technician
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and machine functions.
• Problem Solving and Analysis.
• Project Management.
• Communication Proficiency.
• Production  planning and troubleshooting experience
• Technical leadership and understanding
• Minimum 5 years automotive experience required
