 Pay: $15+

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, OT Required depending on workload.

This position performs necessary transactions to ensure that products are shipped to the customers in a timely and accurate manner. This position performs duties such as packing and loading shipments as required while working alongside our Material Handlers and other production teams for shipping needs. 

AS THE SHIPPING CLERK, YOU WILL: 

• Process shipments based on Emerson and Customer routing guides
• Operate various packaging tools, such as nail gun and packing foam machine to box, crate, and secure shipments
• Work alongside the Quality department to ensure that the Quality guidelines are being met for all outgoing packages 
• Prepare bill of lading, packing list, commercial invoice, and shipping labels for domestic and international orders using shipping software
• Record needed information such as quantity, weight, and dimensions on pick slips for outgoing packages
• Work cohesively with production teams to ensure timely shipments for product lines

Job Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Minimum of high school diploma plus six (6) months of general warehouse experience 
• Must be PC proficient 
• Able to maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing transactions and dealing with part numbers, quantities, locations, and weights
• Must be licensed to operate materials handling equipment and overhead cranes
• Must be able to perform unassisted lifting up to 50 pounds and assisted lifting over 50 pounds
