Paint Team Lead needed now! Pay: $20-25 per hour Excellent direct hire opportunity with a well-established company! The Paint Team Lead is responsible for leading paint department staff to ensure that jobs are painted accurately, timely, and consistently with specification guidelines and work instruction.

Essential duties:

  • -Provides paint and process training to employees
  • -Evaluates paint personnel to match abilities, skills and knowledge with optimal paint assignment
  • -Assign workers to their respective positions and give instructions -Performs continuous monitoring of operation
  • -Oversees safety functions and requirements
  • -Complies with company quality objectives
  • -Train workers on quality assurance and policy
  • -Prepares work to be accomplished by studying prints and work instructions, gathering paints, tools and materials.
  • -Prepares all areas and items properly for paint process.
  • -Paints all areas carefully and appropriately
  • -Advise supervisor of any hazards.
  • -Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish each job task
  • -Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
  • -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Job Knowledge: Competent in required job skills and knowledge, including ability to read all measurement devices, knowledge of electrical work and generators.
  • Displays understanding of how job relates to others.
  • Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills.
  • Keeps abreast of current developments.
  • Requires minimal supervision.
  • Uses resources effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises employees in the department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:

  • -Experience 2-5 years experience wet paint
