Monday-Thursday 5:30 am-3:00 pm

Pay: $15/hr

ResourceMFG is hiring for skilled machinist. This position is a contract to hire position. This position is working for an aerospace company who produces satellite parts.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Support internal R&D efforts and may fabricate, assemble, disassemble, rework, modify and reassemble various piece-parts, tools, mechanisms and sub-assemblies in accordance with applicable instructions and/or specifications.
• Must have CNC controls experience and be capable of creating programmed tool-paths in Master Cam.
• Must be able to make tool-path edits in Master Cam as well as at the machine control.
• 2 axis lathe and Bridgeport or Summit mill experience preferred.
• Conventional/manual equipment must also be operated and may include horizontal materials and cold saws, pedestal grinders and vertical band saws.

Job Requirements:

• Safely stand and walk approximately 90% of the workday and sit approximately 10% of the workday.
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for up to 50 ft.
• Visually distinguish colors.
• Bend or reach.
• Work at a desk and use a computer (typical 2-button - scroll mouse and keyboard) for extended periods of time.
• May require standing and/or bending in awkward positions for unknown periods of time.

• High-School diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience
