We are seeking an Production Manager for a local Longmont electronics manufacturing company. This is a temp to hire position that offers a salary of $50-60k/yr.

You will be responsible for assignment and prioritization of work within the manufacturing and stockroom areas according to build & ship priorities, as well as responsible for all aspects of employee performance management, including development and training opportunities for direct reports. 

Job Duties Include:

  • Performance management of all direct reports, including timely performance reviews & ongoing feedback and attendance for the factory and stockroom.
  • Mentor, develop and address training opportunities for all direct reports.
  • Execute the production schedule to meet customer needs based on customer backlog, and meet commit dates for completion.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of all transactions based on Company policies and procedures as it relates to the kitting function and setup process.
  • Responsible to assign work to employees with the appropriate skill level
  • Oversee jobs through the complete production process.
  • Maintain high quality of product and manage quality and production issues.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and be the lead within manufacturing to implement, meet and ensure 6S initiatives.
  • Responsible to implement corrective action for errors in the manufacturing process.
  • Responsible for MRB process relating to manufacturing issues that occur in the process.



Job Requirements

As a Production manager, you will have the following experience:

  • 5 years' minimum managerial experience preferably in a production environment.
  • A background in electronic or mechanical assembly with soldering experience is preferred.
  • Great communication skills both written and oral, willing to work side by side with the team.
  • Must be willing to take ownership and learn the process.

This is a second shift opportunity. Pay is $50-$60k DOE.
