Description

Production workers are responsible for blending, filling, stacking, and forklift driving, dependent on need and training while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and all Safety and Quality procedures.

Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Learn, practice, and adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures(SOP’s)
• Set-up and operate equipment
• Conduct quality assurance tests
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Perform basic mathematical calculations
• Demonstrate good judgment by reacting to unsafe acts or condition and following all safety procedures
• Perform assigned tasks while waring Personal Protective Equipment(PPE), as required
• Must maintain confidentiality at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Willing to work overtime on weekends

Work Environment:

• Requires ability to work in an environment that contains odors, steam, low level noise
• Requires the use of hairnets, safety glasses, safety shoes, and sometimes additional PPE

Job Requirements

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently and up to 60 pounds with proper team lifting techniques 
• This can be an extremely physically demanding job
• Team Oriented
• Comprehend basic Math
• Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Requires accuracy, reliability, and attention to quality
