Industrial Maintenance Electrician's are needed at a client of ours, located in Portland, MI. This is an off shift (2nd/3rd) position and pay would be based on experience, ranging between $30-$33 hourly. Preferred Journeyman status or certification as an electrician is a plus. The Maintenance Electrician would perform duties in a clean warehouse factory environment.

Maintenance Electrician duties include:

• Perform the electrical installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of industrial machinery, equipment and systems throughout the facility.

• Employee will be required to perform the electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of industrial equipment, machinery and systems.
• This would include analog, digital, PLCs, CNCs, temperature controllers, HMI’s, motor controls, Induction Heating, Heat-treat, variable speed drives, counters, timers, microprocessor-based controllers and traditional relay logic-controlled equipment.
• Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturers' specifications.

• Ability to exercise extreme attentiveness to detail to ensure safety while performing electrical duties. Employee responsible for understanding department escalation policy.

Job Requirements

• Preferred journeyman status or certification as an electrician.
• May be required to perform some heavy lifting.
• Own set of tools required.
