Description

Thin Film Coating/ Cleaning Operator for local manufacturer of synthetic materials for the Aerospace and Medical Industries.  Highly Technical Operation.  Seeking candidates with a minimum of an Associates degree seeking to work in a technical lab environment.   

 Shifts Available:  2nd Shift M-F 2:15pm - 10:30pm (Technical Cleaner)

                          1st Shift Th-S 6:00am - 4:30pm (Technical Coater)

                          2nd Shift M-F 2:15pm - 10:30pm (Technical Coater)

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a vacuum E-beam chamber to produce coating material "plugs"
  • Support the plug preparation by pressing and baking raw material
  • Prepare and maintain the coating plug chamber
  • Maintain data collection and process documentation
  • Maintain work area for a cleanroom environment
  • Assist with inventory and restocking
  • Prepare and clean part tooling
  • Assist coaters in chamber cleaning
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on critical equipment
  • Participate in the housekeeping rotation
  • Work with process improvement teams

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Communicate well in a technical environment
  • both verbally and written English
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Technical Manufacturing Experience preferred
  • Able to operate equipment with out supervision
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word Visual acuity and manual dexterity skills required
  • Unscheduled overtime and shift flexibility may be required and training may occur on weekend shift
  • Must be shift flexible
